DR. PAUL IVERSON, DPT, MTC
Dr. Iverson, owner and founder of Chattanooga Physical Therapy, has 23 years of physical therapy experience and is a Certified Manual Therapist as well as certified in dry needling. After working for several large therapy companies and becoming frustrated at the inability to treat his patients with the level of attention he felt was necessary, Paul opened Chattanooga Physical Therapy in 2009. Paul is dedicated to his patients' outcome and success. Paul, his wife Brooke and their daughter Morgan have called Chattanooga home since 2000 after moving here from Florida where Paul received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. In fact, he was the first DPT in Chattanooga. While hailing from the great state of Utah, Paul has fallen in love with Chattanooga and southern hospitality.  Paul's passion for serving people and his family is followed by his intense love of pudding, 1980's music, soccer, hiking, woodworking, driving tractors and traveling.

Our Mission

4 Pillars of Chattanooga Physical Therapy
EXCELLENCE
Excellent patient care is paramount. We do not use techs or PTAs and each PT holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. We work to develop our own skills and to specialize our skill set to become experts.
WELLNESS
We foster a friendly atmosphere of growth and cooperation. In many aspects, we are a family. Wellness comes from patients knowing we know them and care about them. To lift others, each of us needs to be on solid ground ourselves. We are a family business and understand the importance of taking care of your family.
COMMUNITY
Chattanooga Physical Therapy works together as a team with open communication and transparency. We meet weekly to share skills through in-services and to discuss patient progression. We are also involved in the surrounding community providing services and education as opportunities arrive.
COMPASSION
Each patient is seen one-on-one by the same therapist who performed the evaluation to provide consistency of care. We listen to our patients, respond to their needs, and they become our friends. We love what we do and feel honored to be a part of your recovery process.

 Our History

Chattanooga Physical Therapy was founded in 2009 by Paul Iverson to be the premier physical therapy option in the downtown Chattanooga region for people looking for personalized, hands-on treatment. In a world of "Big Box" retailers, dealers, and health care providers, Paul was inspired to start a company that focused on patient-centered care with a personalized approach. He was concerned that business decisions and chasing the bottom line compromised patient satisfaction and outcomes in other companies he had worked for and set out to create something new. Chattanooga Physical Therapy was quickly formed. From its infancy, Chattanooga Physical Therapy has been tailored for the patient. While providing world-class therapeutic services, our office is designed for the patient. Choose us the next time you need physical therapy services and see the difference for yourself.
